It is in our uncertainty, our lack of knowing the outcome of a future event based on the footing from which we currently stand, that we grow into our future selves. Some might argue that we grow through action, or doing, or perseverance, heartbreak, sadness, wins, losses, love, but I counter with the belief that it is through uncertainty, of not knowing, of feeling blindly through the darkness toward an outcome we may know, may not know, or may not even be able to imagine, that we grow stronger.
