I won’t go into a lengthy discussion here on the importance of posture in meditation. If you’re curious, I discuss it in the video. But of all the things that keep people from exploring meditation, I feel like one of the big ones is “doing it right”, and by stressing that there’s a right and wrong way to have a meditation practice, we give people excuses not to even try. That’s why I will always invite new students to come to meditation through the breath, not from the list of what you’re supposed to be doing.
You’re already meditating every day in every moment of your life. You just don’t know that yet.
